A Portrait for Francesca

I am excited to have been approached by the all female collective She is a Problem and have them request a portrait of Francesca Woodsman to be included in their installations and performances.
Francesca was a troubled artist who, in 1981, took her own life at the age of 22. Many of the photographs and videos created during the short life of Francesca Woodman emphasized her presence, and the subsequent subtraction of that presence. With this in mind, I painted this portrait of Francesca.
